What goes into the film.

What Dashlight will never do.
Dashlight does not generate synthetic speech, AI-cloned voices, or AI imagery of the person. The film is composed from material the person and their family actually recorded. There is no "AI clone," no "AI resurrection," no "bring them back," and no simulation of the deceased.

Open "Memorial movie" from the memorial's family dashboard. Dashlight lays out a first cut in five acts — opening, their story, year by year, photographs, and voices of those who loved them. The curator reorders, trims, and times each scene, saves the edit for co-curators, then plays it full screen at the service.
